  2. Go to Forms
  3. Either click the orange plus button to create a new form or the edit button to alter an existing form
  4. Click the Question button to add a new question
  5. Add the Question Text
  6. Change the Answer Type to Numeric
  7. Then adjust the following tools to suit you:

Selecting a Unit

Units can be used in Numeric Answers, these will then display the unit in the answer when it comes to reporting. Select from these units:

  • Temperature
  • Weight
  • Volume
  • Distance/Length
  • Custom Unit
    • Enter the Unit Name & Unit Symbol you need

Using Decimal Places

You can set your precision by selecting how many decimal places you want to be displayed.

  • 0 = a whole number e.g. 1,2,10,52
  • 1 = 1 Decimal Place e.g. 1.0, 20.8, 100,7
  • 2 = 2 Decimal Places e.g. 3.00, 45.09, 309.99

Once you've set the decimal place, you don't need to add it again in the form. Just type in the number and the decimal place will be added for you, like an Eftpos machine..

Set Numeric Boundaries

This is the Advanced numeric feature, where you can set limits that your team can't exceed. You can also set warning values, where if they are exceeded then they will need to explain why and you can get notified. To set this up:

  1. Click the Advanced toggle
  2. Click the Lower/Upper Bound panel
  3. Enter the Minimum & Maximum value allowed - your team won't be able to enter a number outside of this range
  4. Enter the Lower & Upper Warning value - your team will have to explain why a number is out of this range
  5. You can then set what the warning message is. This is displayed if the value exceeds the Lower & Upper Warning value
  6. SAVE

Reporting with Numeric Answer
