MPI - Simply Safe and Suitable template Food Control Plan
- The current template Food Control Plan is called Simply Safe & Suitable (also known as 'S3' or 'SSS') and the current version is available from the Ministry of Primary Industry (MPI) here.

Supplier Assurances
- Most large suppliers (e.g. Bidvest, Gilmours) will have food safety plans in place (e.g. HACCP) to ensure that the food they are supplying to you is safe and suitable. If you are unsure whether your suppliers have assurances click here.
- If you import food check that the company is on this list.
