Setting Limits for Equipment

You may want to receive a warning or alert when a temperature for an item of equipment goes out of range.  To do this you need to set the limits correctly.

When setting up your Equipment, you will see a Settings section. This is where you can enter temperature boundary limits. 

If you select 'Refrigerator', 'Freezer' or 'Hot Holding' as the Equipment Category then the limits will be set automatically for you. You are able to change these if you need to, however we based them off MPI's Simply Safe and Suitable Requirements. If you choose a different category that requires a temperature setting then you can set it yourself.
